On new or mature turbine units, Global Instrumentation Specialists can modify electrical and instrumentation connections on enclosure-mounted devices allowing for their quick removal with ease.
Global Instrumentation Specialists can perform site reviews, help prepare a Management of Change (MOC) package, modify connections during outages, and provide training to O&M staff on the procedure of quickly and safely removing the enclosure roof panels.
On normal determination of rooftop enclosures without a quick disconnect system in place, the time to remove can range from 4 to 5 days. Adding our quick disconnect system will eliminate a minimum of one full day from the determination and one full day from the re-termination.
