All instrument calibration work is done at your facility by our team of I&C engineers and technicians. Our team can travel to your location during your scheduled outages or at a moment’s notice during emergency situations where you instrumentation needs immediate attention. Our staff includes I&C engineers and technicians, as well as mechanical/electrical technicians and other types of specialized labor and supervisors.

Every element of an I&C project is verified in advance of any work, including recording the condition of the equipment and operation. Once the work is performed, a full-system checkout inspection and control loop tuning is performed, whenever it is needed. Our team stays on site until we verify that everything is working as expected, ensuring that the calibration process has not had an effect on your equipment’s operation and performance.

OEM and Industry best practices encourage the annual calibration of instruments, ensuring drift correction and the adjustment of any controls that can create a challenge to power plant operation, output, efficiency and cost. GIS employs only experienced engineers and technicians—and every one of our I&C experts is trained to ensure that all calibration projects meet specific industry requirements.
